Winter is the time to wear warm jumpers, tights or pants. However, not everyone is a fan of the cold. That's why the low temperatures can be conducive to spending time in the comfort of your home. What can you do to avoid sitting on the sofa during this time?

Of course, there is nothing wrong with watching your favourite films and TV series. However, sometimes it's good to do something different for a change. Introducing homemade winter activities to catch your energy despite little sunshine!

Remember that the carnival runs until 4 March?

Now is a good time to make your own carnival mask and dance to the rhythm of your favourite music. How do you make a mask? Nothing easier - you can cut it out of cardboard. Markers, paints and glitter are perfect for the occasion. Hot glue and colourful decorations will also fit in perfectly with the atmosphere. You really can use anything you can think of when creating masks!

Creating beeswax candles

Winter is the perfect time for creative eco activities at home. One such idea could be creating beeswax candles. It's a simple way to bring a warm atmosphere to your winter evenings and at the same time take care of the environment. All you need is a piece of beeswax, a wick, an old cup or glass, and your favourite essential oil to create unique, natural candles. Beeswax is environmentally friendly and its scent brings a pleasant atmosphere to any room. It's also a great opportunity to use up old crockery that's lingering in cupboards. Creating such candles is relaxing and the end result is always a joy!

8 March is another opportunity to create something amazing

As we all know, home-made sweets taste the best. So why not make your own oat bars this year and give them to the ladies? You don't even have to turn on the oven! How do you do it? Mix together a handful of nuts and a handful of your favourite dried fruit. Add three tablespoons of honey, two cups of oatmeal and three tablespoons of peanut butter. If you like cinnamon, you can also add it. Shape the mixed and combined ingredients into whatever shape you like. Then put them in the fridge for at least three hours. Of course, remember to pack them nicely. A stylish paper bag and a ribbon will do the trick.

Homemade eco-activities not only for holidays

Board games, puns and card games are ideal whatever the occasion. Reading books and making seasonal decorations from unwanted objects will work well not only in cold weather, but also on warm days. An activity attributed to winter is making hangers and fat balls for the birds. It can involve everyone in the household. And, as we know, time spent together with loved ones always recharges our batteries.
