What if you took as a goal that this year, instead of throwing out your old clothes and buying new ones, you would renew them and give them a second life? It certainly wasn't on your list of New Year's resolutions. We don't accept any excuses that you don't have time! The year is 12 months long and you will have time to renew at least one thing.

Is there anyone among us who has never made long trousers into short shorts? It's fashionable, comfortable and eco-friendly. That's what it's all about. What's next?

Secondly, you can create a pillowcase or blanket out of old clothes. All you need for this are scraps of material that you can put together. Thread in hand! The combination of a patterned blouse, a nice-to-touch jumper, dark blue jeans and a colourful bandana will create an original ensemble that is sure to delight many.

If you would like to do something extremely crazy in the fashion category, you can cut the sleeves off a long blouse and reconnect them with the rest of the blouse using safety pins. More than one fashion designer at his shows uses such solutions.

You can make something for your dog out of old clothes. Our suggestion number four is to make a tug of war out of old sweatshirts and T-shirts. In addition to the clothes, all you need is a pair of scissors. Time to make the tug is about 20 minutes. You can easily find instructions on the Internet on how to make it.

Fifth and last: if you decide that the garment is no longer wearable, you can always cut them up and use them as cloths. Every grandmother knows this! If you don't believe us, ask yours.
