Kick off the summer holidays at the Eco Picnic!

Last Sunday, 29 June, the Edu4Eco.pl portal had the pleasure to participate in a unique event - Ecological Picnic, which took place for the residents of Poznan, Suchy Las and surrounding areas. It was a great way to start holidays together in an atmosphere of caring for the environment and having fun!

The aim of the picnic, organised together with the Waste Management Plant in Poznań, was to promote pro-ecological attitudes and raise awareness of environmental protection - through education combined with entertainment. Our educational stand attracted both children and adults, offering numerous attractions related to proper waste management and everyday actions for the planet.

Attractions for everyone

Participants could test their knowledge in ecological quizzes, and the best ones received small gifts. Our educational games - knowledge wheel, XXL puzzle and ecological dobble - were also very popular.

Also present at the event were representatives of the Department of Municipal Economy of the City of Poznań, who conducted a collection of electro-waste. Anyone who brought in waste electrical or electronic equipment received a seedling in return - a symbol of care for a green future.

Ecology in practice

Environmental education is also about caring for health - which is why participants were able to take part in first aid workshops. All as part of the project 'Our dragon ambulance teaches first aid', implemented by the Wielkopolska Ambulance Service in Poznań.

There was also plenty of entertainment - games, dances, animations, sports games and delicious naturals and lemonade energised all participants. An additional attraction was a visit from friendly alpacas, who were happy to walk around the event area with the little ones.
