Everything we no longer need, which becomes the planet's big problem from this point on.

Rubbish, the Case of the Highest Weight

Waste is substances or objects that are already useless or unnecessarywhich we dispose of, intend to dispose of or are obliged to dispose of.

Simply put, waste is all the stuff we want to throw away. Colloquially, we refer to the vast majority of waste simply as: rubbish.

Keyword: recycling

Waste separation has many benefits that we are not always aware of.

Much waste, such as paper, plastic, metal and glass, can be recycled and turned into new products.

Beware of plastics

By following the principles of segregation, especially of plastics, we contribute to improving air, soil and water quality.

The decomposition process of these plastics can take up to several thousand years and abandoned waste can release highly toxic substances!

Reduce the amount of waste in your environment also in order to protect the natural resources that not only benefit us today, but which will also serve future generations.

It is a simple way of taking care of our planet. Segregation increases our environmental awareness and responsibility for the environment in which we live every day.

Global Mobilisation

  • Paper and cardboard

In 2022, around 1.8 million tonnes of paper and cardboard were collected in Poland.

  • Plastics and metals

We also collected around 1.6 million tonnes of plastic waste and 0.4 million tonnes of metals.

  • Glass

Around 1.2 million tonnes of glass was collected from green bins in 2022.

  • Organic waste

The result of the brown bins? Around 1.5 million tonnes of organic waste, including food scraps and plant waste.

Dangerous - under control

By separating waste while it is still in the household, we ensure that those most likely to pollute the environment - chemicals, batteries or medicines - go directly under the control of specialists, and this in turn minimises the risks to human life and health.

  • Batteries
  • Medicines

From waste to energy

A key objective of waste segregation is to produce energy from waste; some waste can be converted into electricity and heat, e.g. through incineration.
