A homemade scrub is not only natural and effective, but also environmentally friendly - without unnecessary packaging and chemical additives. What's more, by making your own cosmetic, you reduce your use of plastic. As you know, a homemade scrub can be stored in a glass jar or other packaging you already have at home, further reducing waste.
Homemade scrub - it's easier than you think
One of the biggest advantages of homemade scrubs, besides their natural composition, is the speed of preparation. You only need a few minutes to create your own cosmetic. It's really simple - just combine a few ingredients and you'll end up with a ready-made, organic skincare product.

Coffee peeling
To prepare the coffee scrub you need:
- half a cup of coffee grounds;
- a teaspoon of cinnamon;
- a tablespoon of olive oil.
Don't rub your eyes - that's really all it takes to create an effective beauty product. Simply combine all the ingredients and you have a natural scrub that not only smooths the skin but also helps fight cellulite.

Sugar scrub
A sugar scrub is even simpler to prepare - you only need two ingredients. Here they are:
- half a cup of sugar;
- two tablespoons of olive oil.
Sounds trivial? And good - because it is! Simply mix the ingredients together to create a gentle but effective body cleansing scrub. If you want to enrich it with a pleasant fragrance and additional skin care properties, add a little blended fruit - such as strawberries or raspberries.
Yoghurt body scrub
To prepare the yoghurt scrub you will need:
- 2 tbsp oat bran;
- 1 tbsp lemon juice;
- half a cup of natural yoghurt.
Simply combine the ingredients together for a gentle, creamy cosmetic. The yoghurt intensely moisturises, the bran gently exfoliates and the lemon gives the skin a fresh feel. The result? The skin becomes smooth, soft and intensely nourished.
